Public Garden Flea Market at NAC’s NOISE Singapore
Public Garden is making its third appearance on Sat, 18 Feb, at Goodman Arts Centre from 1pm to 8pm, in collaboration with National Arts Council for Noise Singapore.
On the same day, Goodman Arts Centre is housing the opening of the Apprenticeship Programme Exhibition as part of Noise Singapore, where 42 apprentices mentored by 24 creative professionals will showcase and present their work.
Looking to go back to the roots of the flea market concept, Public Garden is an alternative to big-box retail with a free spirit. For its collaboration with National Arts Council, Public Garden Flea Market in February has a strict Arts theme.
The flea market will feature a mix of 50+ vendors, including Singapore’s best independent businesses and creative individuals. You can expect an excellent mix of vendors from various industries, including craft, music, publishing and homemade baked goods.
Public Garden Flea Market will also debut the Public Library Collection Booth concept.
Used reading material with a focus on the Arts, such as design books and magazines, will be collected from design studios, designers and the general public. These materials will then be free for collection by Arts students on Sat 18 Feb, at the Public Library collection booth within the flea market.
This booth is created with the dual purpose of alleviating the tight budget of Arts students, as well as recycling excellent reading material for the greater good.

- Public Library Collection Booth
- Finders Keepers, Public Garden’s regular scavenger hunt
- Casual Poet’s booth as part of the debut launch of Casual Days Magazine
- Hello Stranger, a photo booth concept which has appeared at events organized by Zouk and Tanjong Beach Club
- Plain Vanilla Bakery’s booth, an interesting bakery at Lorong Mambong, Holland Village
